dappled sun magazine is an online arts publication created to encourage, generate, & recognize creative engagement in small online spaces. without needing its formality defined, it serves as a gallery—aiming to inspire others, give individuals a platform, & provide them with a sense of pride for their work.

submission guidelines:

• audio — must be no longer than 5 minutes & in .mp3 format
• illustrations/images — must be 300 dpi, no larger than 10 mb, & in .png format
• writing — must be no more than 2.5k words & in .txt or .docx format
• participants may submit up to 3 pieces
• simultaneous submissions are acceptable
• ai-generated work is prohibited
• if you plan to submit, please be comfortable with your work being reviewed by a small team of people
